Four nights of amazing live music, experienced DJ's, stunning acts, demo's and performances in a wonderful venue with a perfect wooden floor. And of course about 150 lovely people obsessed with Blues dancing. What more do you want? For those who can't wait till the weekend starts, we have the unofficial pre-party on Thursday night. On Friday the grant opening followed by the main party on Saturday. On Sunday we close up with the big finale. Tell your boss, you probable need some days to recover ...
THURSDAY
We kick off with a cozy pre-party on Thursday night. On stage Slaphead Stephens, featering Anne-Maarten van den Heuvelen, previously playing in Hills & Hamid and The Red Hot Perculators.
With a roaring voice, an electric guitar and a bass drum Slaphead Stephens plays some
down home juke joint blues. He wakes up in the morning with the sound of the steam
train in his ears and the smell of cole in his nose. At night he plays his six string and slide
guitar in dark bars. He sings slow blues songs and old time medium tempo tunes you can
dance to. So pour in some whiskey and put on your dancing shoes for some good time Blues!

FRIDAY
Tonight the official opening of Trippin' Blues. We start early with registration and time to chat with friends you haven't seen for a while. Then we will have our party starter focused on getting meeting new people and getting you in the mood for a great night of dancing.

SATURDAY
On the main party of the weekend, we are proud to present our Dutch superband BluesShack !! BluesShack is a group of musicians from Utrecht that found each other in Blues music. Every member brings a unique energy to the stage. That reflects in a show that lifts you up with a joyful up-tempo shuffle and brings you back down with slow and soulful tunes. BluesShack started as a band dedicated for Blues dancers and has grown to an experienced collective with many gigs in The Netherlands as well as abroad. They made several albums and you can find them on Spotify too.

SUNDAY
At 'Le grand finale' of the weekend, we can party with Sam Ghezzi and his band. Sam is touring through all of Europe to pimp up many Blues events. It won' t be long until he will outgrow our community, but until then we take every opportunity to dance to his infectious music. This night we also show the results of the cabaret track, where Elise and her group will perform a Vaudeville showcase bringing you back to naughty old times.

PARTY VENUE
All parties will be located in "De Nieuwe KHL" (The New KHL). We spend one nignt here in the previous edition and we loved it. Now we are going to be here during all the parties.
On Saturday you can join the Trippin' Blues buffet and have dinner with you fellow dancers.
